Energy Transition Event 16/07/25
On the 16th July, Nu-Gen Energy Services was proud to host an incredible event at OrbisEnergy – bringing together innovators, industry leaders, and policymakers to explore how we deliver the UK’s energy transition through local talent, infrastructure excellence, and true collaboration.
From the inspiring opening remarks by John Best to Johnathan Reynolds of Opergy Group who showcased the 'size-of-the-prize' in East Anglia, plus contributions from Balfour Beatty, East of England Energy Group, Constructionarium, Speedy Hire, OrbisEnergy and Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, we explored the challenge and massive opportunities facing the region.
Highlights included:
-
Positive lessons from the Sizewell C rail enabling works
-
How rail-grade engineering is helping power clean energy delivery
-
Innovative solutions like hydrogen fuel cell generators
-
The need for inclusive, skilled pathways from rail & construction into energy
-
A bold commitment to local supply chains and rapid mobilisation
-
Showcasing long term existing local presence
As our MD Edward Maloney said:
“Nu-Gen was built to meet the moment – where safety, delivery, and sustainability must go hand in hand. We’re proud to be part of the solution.”
Huge thanks to everyone who joined us, especially our speakers, our partners at OrbisEnergy, and all the teams working behind the scenes to make today a success.
Thank you to:
